Poco F6 Review: Over the years have seen some changes in terms of the needs and wants of smartphone customers. It can be ascribed to the digital transformation that has made people start using advanced technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI).
If we come to Poco, is a new smartphone brand that has become itself well in the budget to mid-range space. Currently, Poco’s latest trends indicate that it is getting into premium offerings but still maintaining its mid-range pricing.
The company released the gaming and multitasking-focused Poco X6 Pro a few months back. Now again, it has released another performance-oriented phone called Poco F6 which is making rounds on smartphones under The Rs 30000 category.
This smartphone has everything you want in a user Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, Sony camera sensors, 1.5K resolution display, and much more.

Poco F6 Design, Display Review
Poco F6 comes with a very minimalist and simple design with the usual color options: Black and Titanium (Grey shade).
On the other hand, other companies like Realme and Vivo in the segment always bring distinguished designs that include, dual back panel design, and nano-mirror camera modules among others.
The polycarbonate back panel of Poco F6 remains the same, merely having a sparkling texture but will it be enough to win over customers? Maybe not. This is why in my opinion poor design aesthetics do not go well with its premium offering.

However, the plastic back panel does not attract dust or fingerprints which is a bonus point. Additionally, the smartphone is extremely lightweight and comes with a 7.8mm thickness.
In terms of display, the Poco F6 features a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display which is a perfect size as it does not make the smartphone look too big or too small in the hands.
Dolby Vision and HDR10+ playback support have been extended to this screen as well giving it an edge for better visuals when watching movies and playing games on your phone.
Similarly, some AI-enhanced features are available such as Super-resolution, and AI HDR enhancement that make device resolution better however these may drain battery life if enabled all time long.
But, without the LTPO display as found in Realme GT 6T which is behind if compared with the Poco flagship model’s performance.
Poco F6 Camera Review
Camera-wise, Poco F6 comes with two cameras a 50MP OIS Sony IMX882 main camera with an ultra-wide 8MP.
I would say that this camera can deliver good-quality photos with encouraging clarity, details, and color accuracy. But, Realme GT 6T its competitor captures images in brighter tones but it may be better for the customers’ preferences.
However, Poco F6 image quality seems to be cooler in terms of tones although it avoids oversaturation of the image yet HDR quality could have been improved.
Similarly, by focusing on the object quickly and sharply capturing it with ultimate clarity, Poco F6 also takes great quality portrait shots.

On the other hand, the ultra-wide sensor performs well enough with good picture quality over a larger field of view.
Additionally, at the front, there is a 20 MP selfie camera which still gives a natural look without an edited feel.
In conclusion therefore considering the price and other advanced features available under Rs.30000, its overall camera performance is quite okay.
Poco F6 Performance Review
Poco F6 is powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor which has the capability of supporting on-device AI features and gives a similar benchmark as the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.
Considering smartphones under Rs.30000, Poco F6 delivered an amazing performance in terms of graphic-intensive mobile gaming, mobile network, multitasking, etc.
While the smartphone does not have so many AI features, it supports the Magic Eraser feature that is not as good as Samsung or Google but manageable.

If you are a true gamer, this phone will keep you sustained even for long gaming sessions. I tried several games such as BGMI, Asphalt 9, and Free Fire Max and it handle the gaming in extreme HRD settings.
Even after over an hour of playing, I had not experienced any frames getting dropped and speed was optimum throughout the session.
However, there are some times when the phone gets slightly heated up but still at a level that doesn’t make anyone uncomfortable.
New Iceloop cooling technology and LiquidCool Technology 4.0 support heat management in Poco F6 which keeps temperature and performance.
The smartphone also comes with Wild Boost Optimisation 3.0 technology to ensure the smoothest gaming experience ever line-up for affordable phones i.e., Poco has excelled in this performance segment.
Poco F6 Battery Review
It is important to mention that the Poco F6 comes with a long-lasting battery of 5000mAh which can stay up for a day or so on normal use and doing daily routines like browsing, social media scrolling, gaming, and streaming HD content.
But, things like AI enhancements, always-on display, and other advanced features do affect the battery life.
Regarding charging, the phone is backed by a 90w charger with a 120W adapter included in the package which fully charges in about 45-50 minutes.
