May 23 is the day chosen for the Oppo Reno 12 series release announcement and the Chinese tech firm has started to tease its design through Weibo.
Less than a week and a half before the official introduction, some more renders of the Oppo Reno 12 lineup have appeared on the Internet.
The images provide multiple angles of three different color choices for both Oppo Reno 12 as well as Oppo Reno 12 Pro. Both phones share a similar design language with hole-punch displays and rear triple cameras.
Evan Blass (@evleaks), who is known as an insider, put up purported renders of Oppo Reno 12 and Oppo Reno 12 Pro on X (formerly Twitter).
The three color options in which these phones are shown are displayed in these renderings. There seem to be black, pink, and silver shades in the case of the standard model.
Black, pink, and purple are the colors that are said to come with this device according to provisions on rendering techniques used by Evan Blass (@evleaks).
OPPO Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro colours
Pink, Dark Purple, and Silver are options that the OPPO Reno 12 Renders depict it in. Unlike the Reno 12 Pro which will replace silver with purple. Reno 12 Pro has more of a pink color than any other model.
OPPO Reno 12 Series Design
The OPPO Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro have a centrally placed punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera, flat edges, and slim bezels. The screen gently curves towards the edge making them perfect for gripping.
The volume rocker and power buttons can be found on the right-hand side edge. The frame at the side is box-shaped just like an iPhone’s.

Dual speakers are available on top as well as bottom of the OPPO Reno 12 Pro. In this case, we have a SIM tray section, USB Type-C port, and speaker vent all at the bottom of the phone. On top, there is another microphone besides what looks to be an IR blaster.
If you flip it, you will notice one large rectangular module located in the upper left corner. This contains LED flash triple cameras in their housing area with “AI Camera System” in the engraved text below them. Also included is branding from OPPO.
