On Thursday, May 23rd, Oppo Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro were launched. The quad-curved display phones have triple back cameras of 50 megapixels and a front camera of the same quality.

They are based on Android 14 with ColorOS 14 and they possess an IP65 certificate. A MediaTek Dimensity 8250 Star Speed Edition processor is loaded into the Oppo Reno 12, while the Reno 12 Pro uses the MediaTek Dimensity9200+ Star Speed Edition SoC.
Both smartphones are already available for pre-ordering and will launch this month in China.
Oppo Reno 12, Oppo Reno 12 Pro Price and availability
The Chinese price for the base model Oppo Reeno12 is CNY2,699 (approximately Rs31,000) for the 6 +256GB option while both the models with 6GB +512GB and 8GB +256GB RAM are priced at CNY2,999(about Rs34,500).
The highest variant which is 16GB+512 GB costs CNY3,199(Rs36,800 approximately).
At such time as 25th June 2021, OppoReno begins from CNY3,399 (approximately R39,000)for its versions carrying storage capacities of 256 GB and RAM space of 12GB.
The corresponding prices for different configurations like 16 GB + 256GB and 16 GB + 512 GB account for CNY3,699 (approximately Rs 42,500)and CNY3,999(Rs 46,000 approximately).
These two smartphones are already on pre-order in China through the official Oppo website and other online retailers. Their sales will start in the country on May 31st.
The standard Oppo Reno 12 is available in Ebony Black, Millennium Silver, and Soft Peach (translation from Chinese) colors. Conversely, Champagne Gold, Ebony Black, and Silver Magic Purple (translation from Chinese) shades are obtainable for Reno 12 Pro.

The displays are full HD+ with resolutions of approximately 2772 by 1240 pixels; they come with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus2 protection against scratches
The base version has an Oppo Reno MediaTek Dimensity8250 Star Speed Edition chip built with a cutting-edge process node size of only four nanometers while its sibling boasts the latest MediaTek Dimensity9200+ Star Speed Edition chipset.

Thus, both phones are IP65-rated for dust and splash resistance and come with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
