India has just seen the advent of the Nothing Phone 2a Special Edition. The phone has a peculiar design, with red, yellow, and blue colors all over it.
It will be made available in India, for the first time during the first week of June, coming out of a single bundle holding 12GB RAM + 256GB.
Besides its changing appearance, other hardware specifications remain unaltered compared to that of the original Phone 2a (Review) which hit Indian stores back in March. Furthermore, it is powered by MediaTek Dimensity7200 Pro SoC and highlights double rear cameras.
Nothing Phone 2a Special Edition price in India, availability
The Nothing Phone 2a Special Edition costs Rs 27999 for the model with a storage capacity of RAM and GB equal to 12 and 256 respectively. And as part of their limited promotions, they have put down Rs 1000 lowering this same amount to Rs26999. It is available only in small quantities and can be purchased on Flipkart from June 5th.
On June 1 at exactly eleven o’clock in the morning (11:00 am), buyers can get themselves a few copies of Nothing Phone’s 2-day special edition directly from its London-based store known simply as “Nothing Soho”.

Nothing Phone 2a Special Edition design
To illustrate standard versions were being sold at Rs 23,999 for its base version having an eight gigabytes plus 128 GB configuration then came out around March thereabout.
The design of the Nothing Phone 2a Special Edition is based on a white version of the standard model. However, it has color elements like red, yellow, and blue on its backside.
It’s called a ‘story of color’ by the brand. Sectioning of grey colors is done near the camera module as well as near the lower back. In previous products from Nothing, these shades were used separately.
The right earbud of all Nothing audio products was red the new Ear (a) was yellow and Phone 2a Blue had a blue color. In its press release, the London-based company informs about this device being the first to feature red, yellow, and blue together.
Nothing Phone 2a Special Edition Specifications
The display is an AMOLED panel that measures 6.7 inches with full-HD+ resolution (1080×2412 pixels). This display’s refresh rate varies from 30Hz to 120Hz and it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
The phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro SoC that has an octa-core CPU built on TSMC’s 4nm process node which works in tandem with up to 12GB of RAM.

The second edition of Nothing Phone 2a Special Edition features a dual rear camera setup. It has a 50-megapixel sensor with a 1/1.56-inch size and a 50-megapixel ultra wide-angle sensor at the back. Additionally, there is a 32-megapixel selfie shooter on the front.
The phone comes with built-in storage of up to 256GB and an IP54-rated dust and water-resistant construction.
The in-display fingerprint scanner can also be used for face unlock purposes. The Phone 2a has a battery capacity of 5,000mAh that supports fast charging at speeds of up to 45W.
