The Motorola Edge 50 is going to launch in India on August 1. The smartphone company has claimed to have the world’s slimmest MIL-810H-certified smartphone paired with the Sony LYTIA 700C camera.
The smartphone is IP68-rated for dust and water resistance. It has a 1.5k resolution 3D curved display and a 5,000mAh battery with 68W TurboPowere wired fast charging and 15W reverse charging. The smartphone is going to launch its siblings, the Moto Edge 50 Ultra, Edge 50 Pro, and Edge 50 Fusion.
Motorola Edge 50 India launch date, Design
The smartphone company has officially confirmed through X (Twitter) Post that the Motorola Edge 50 is going to launch in India on 1 August at noon IST. The smartphone will be available for sale via Flipkart, the company’s official website, and all offline retail stores.
Motorola has revealed the design, colour options, and key features of the smartphone through the landing page on Flipkart. The design of the smartphone will be similar to the Motorola Edge 50 Pro.
The Motorola Edge 50 has a triple rear camera setup on the rear side and also confirmed the smartphone will be available in three color options: Jungle Green and Pantone Peach Fuzz with a vegan leather finish and a Koala Grey shade variant feature with a suede finish.

Motorola Edge 50 specifications
All the specifications of the smartphone are based on listing on Flipkart.
Display: The Motorola Edge 50 features a 6.67-inch 1.5k resolution 3D curved display with 1,900 nits peak outdoor brightness and an in-display fingerprint. The display has a Smart Water Touch feature.
Processor and RAM: The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SOC 4 nm-based chipset paired with at least 256GB of internal storage; RAM details have not been declared yet by the company.
Camera: The smartphone is equipped with a triple rear camera setup that has some AI integration. The primary sensor is a 50-megapixel Son-Lytia 700C paired with Moto AI features, with a 10-megapixel telephoto sensor and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens.
On the front, the smartphone has a 32-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls.
Battery: The smartphone has a 5,000mAh battery that supports 68W TurboPower wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging via Type-C port.
