The Vivo V40 5G series is expected to launch next month and includes two variants: the Vivo V40 5G and the Vivo Pro 5G. The Vivo V40 Pro is spotted on the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) website, indicating its launch soon in India.
The Vivo V40 will be available in three colour options and features a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.
Vivo V40 5G Series Launch in India, Design (Expected)
According to the report, the Vivo V40 5G series will be the “slimmest smartphone” in the segment with a 5,500mAh battery, and it will launch in India in August. The Vivo V40 Pro is spotted on the (BIS) Bureau of Indian Standards certification website.
The Vivo V40 series will be launched with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, and the upcoming smartphones from Vivo will feature a 3D curved display and an Infinity Eye Camera, which may have come with Zeiss Optics cameras. The Vivo V40 5G series will launch in three colour options: Ganges Blue, Lotus Purple, and Titanium Grey.

Display: The Vivo V40 features a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2,800 x 1,260 pixel resolutions, and 4,500 nits peak brightness.
Processor and RAM: The smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, and Adreno 720 GPU paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage.
Camera: The Vivo V40 is equipped with a dual rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. On the front, the smartphone has a 50-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls.
Battery: The smartphone has a 5,500mAh battery that supports 80W fast wired charging and a Type-C port.
Others: The Vivo V40 features dual-SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and GPS. The smartphone runs on Android 14.
