The smartphone company Huawei launched its first foldable smartphone, the Huawei Nova Flip, in the Nova segment. The smartphone comes with a dual-rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel (f/1.9) RYYB main sensor.

Huawei Nova Flip price
The Huawei Nova Flip has been launched in China and it comes in three configurations. The 12GB of RAM plus 256GB of internal storage is priced at Yuan 5,288 (around Rs. 62,000) in China.
The higher variants (12GB RAM + 512GB storage) and (12GB RAM + 1TB storage) are priced at Yuan 5,688 (around Rs. 66,000) and Yuan 6,488 (around Rs. 75,000) in China.
The Huawei Nova Flip comes in New Green, Sakura Pink, Zero White, and Starry Black colour options. The smartphone is currently available for pre-orders in China and will go live on sale on August 10.

The Huawei Nova Flip features a 6.94-inch OLED LTPO inner foldable display with an adaptive refresh rate from 1 to 144 Hz, 1,136 x 2,690-pixel resolutions, and 1440 Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.
The cover display features a 2.1-inch OLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate and 480×480 pixels of resolution.
Chipset and RAM
The chipset of the smartphone is yet to be revealed by the company but is expected to be powered by an all-new Kirin 8000 SoC paired with 12GB of RAM, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB of internal storage.
Camera
The Huawei Nova Flip comes in a dual rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel (f/1.9) RYYB main sensor with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor.
On the front, the smartphone has a 32-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls.
Battery and connectivity
The smartphone is packed with a 4,400mAh battery that supports 66W fast wired charging via a Type-C port. For connectivity, it has Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS/AGPS, NFC, GLONASS, Beidou, NavIC, and OTG cable.
For sensors, the smartphone has an ambient light sensor, compass, colour temperature sensor, gravity sensor, gyroscope, hall sensor, and proximity sensor. It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security.
