During the WWDC 2024 development conference, Apple revealed its most recent iOS operating system, iOS 18, and a List of iOS 18 supported Devices.
According to the firm, this new release of iOS is a powerhouse with different features that are better than ever and more customizable.
This version of iOS offers a wide range of settings for users to pick from, an overhauled Photos app, better email organization in Mail, satellite messaging through the Messages app as well as many other things.

Though it is available only for developers now, the public beta release is expected to be released in July this year. Additionally, Apple has unveiled iPhones compatible with this update and slated for the future.
In iOS 18, app icons can be moved on the Home Screen anywhere breaking through the grid layout. Besides, empty spaces of the Home Screen are open to all types of apps and widgets in other words Lock screen buttons can be customized along with the Control Center for more controls.

Mail also smartly splits emails while iMessage brings out some new text effects that optimistically denote lively and animated decorations of letters, words, phrases, or emojis.
For example, in iOS 18 there is Apple Intelligence which is a personal intelligence system for Mac, iPhone, and iPad that combines generative models with individual context.
